ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ನೆರೆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊಳಕಾಲು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಹುಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿ ಸುದ್ದಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶಾಸಕ ಎಂ.ಪಿ.ರೇಣುಕಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಪುಟ ದರ್ಜೆ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಸಿಎಂ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಕರುಣಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ರೇಣುಕಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರ ಬಲಗೈ ಎಂದೇ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ, ಶಿಷ್ಯ ಎಂದೇ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಎಂ.ಪಿ.ರೇಣುಕಾಚಾರ್ಯ, ಸಚಿವ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಿಗದಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಮೇಲೆ ಮುನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.

ಈಗ ಅವರ ಮುನಿಸನ್ನು ಶಮನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು,ಸಿಎಂ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾಗಿ ರೇಣುಕಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿ ತಕ್ಷಣದಿಂದ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬರುವಂತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದೆ.
ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಿಗದ ಕಾರಣ ಮುನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ರೇಣುಕಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಅವರು ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕಾರ್ಯಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ದೂರ ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದರು.
